    Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.5: Growing Light Key Art Revealed

    Square Enix have revealed the key art and official website for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.5: Growing Light, one of the major updates that builds toward next year’s Dawntrail expansion. The upcoming update includes a slew of new content including more story quests, a new dungeon, and so much more. 

    During Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival 2023, Square Enix revealed the Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion, which is the first DLC following the end of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark saga. Players will embark on a new journey in the “New World” known as Tural. Moreover, Square Enix teamed up with Microsoft to announce an Xbox Series X|S version of Final Fantasy XIV, and the Xbox open beta will be available in Patch 6.5.

    The official X (Twitter) account for Final Fantasy XIV reveals new key art for Patch 6.5: Growing Light. This key art depicts Zero front and center with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and other supporting characters around her. The patch launches in early October 2023 according to the newly launched website.

    Lastly, Final Fantasy XIV and the latest expansion, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, are available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail launches in summer 2024.
