Castlevania: Nocturne is the sequel to the highly successful Castlevania Netflix series. The series focuses on Richter Belmont, another member of the monster-slaying Belmont family who’s devoted to honoring their legacy. Fans will learn more about Richter in Castlevania: Nocturne ahead of the September 28 premiere.
Castlevania: Nocturne Reveals Trailer and Early Screening
A new trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne highlights the memorable characters and stunning animation in under three minutes. The trailer also reveals a new rendition of the iconic theme “Divine Bloodlines” from Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. At the end of the trailer, Netflix confirms a special digital livestream will air on September 27 at 9 a.m. PDT / 12 p.m. EDT via Twitch. This livestream will showcase Netflix’s latest series and run an early screening of Castlevania: Nocturne before its premiere.

About Castlevania: Nocturne
In the thick of the French Revolution, members of the so-called lower classes are rising up to fight inequality: “It’s the natural order for them to milk us dry with impossible rents and unpayable taxes,” Maria (Davies), a young leader, laments. Meanwhile, Richter Belmont (Bluemel) senses a far grimmer and greater danger. He’s picked up his family’s long-held tradition of vampire hunting, a vocation that goes back almost as long as a vampiric life span (in other words, forever).
