The King of Fighters XV DLC Character Duo Lon Launches September 12

    SNK announced The King of Fighters XV DLC character Duo Lon launches on September 12. Duo Lon is the fifth paid DLC fighter for the Season 2, and the character was highlighted in a new trailer.

    Najd made her debut in Season 2 of The King of Fighters XV back on August 8. During EVO 2023, Duo Lon was teased briefly without a release date. SNK also confirmed that a major character balance patch would be releasing alongside the upcoming DLC character. 

    The King of Fighters XV Adds Duo Lon

    SNK’s global X (Twitter) account confirms that The King of Fighters XV DLC character Duo Lon will launch on September 12 with a new character balance patch. A new trailer highlights Duo Lon’s dialogue (voiced by Keisuke Komoto) with Najd, Elisabeth Blanctorche, and Ash Crimson. Duo Lon’s rapid hit and mystical move-set is on full display in the trailer, and players only need to wait a week for the DLC launch. Further details about the patch were not revealed, however.

    One more The King of Fighters XV DLC character is currently scheduled for a winter 2023 release. This will be the final DLC character for Season 2 of The King of Fighters XV, and SNK has not announced a third season yet. Fans may also look forward to multiple new releases from SNK in the near future.

    SNK is currently developing Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, the next major installment in the long-running Fatal Fury / GAROU series of fighting games. Additionally, The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match will release on November 16 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The upcoming re-release includes new features such as rollback netcode, expanded lobby features, and a new spectator mode. 

    Lastly, The King of Fighters XV is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S. and PC via Windows, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
