Pikmin Finder is a new augmented reality game made by the developers of Pokemon Go and Pikmin Bloom. It has been a fantastic year to be a Pikmin fan, as just a month ago, Pikmin 4 was finally released. The game is available now on the Nintendo Switch. Pikmin Finder Available Now
Pikmin Finder tasks you to find and take pictures of Pikmin around your house. Certain types of Pikmin can be found depending on the time of day. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Blue Pikmin or a Red Pikmin; fans of the franchise will find much fan service to enjoy in this free adventure. Once you find a Pikmin, you can follow them to retrieve certain treasures scattered around the environment. These function similarly to treasures in the rest of the Pikmin franchise, ranging from rubber ducks to old batteries.
Nintendo and Niantic released the game to coincide with PAX West, held over the weekend. They designed it so that attendees can use the application during the event.
