The release date and a new trailer for HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima Season 2 has been revealed by the official website of the anime. The new season will air in October 6, 2023.
The anime is an adaptation of the HYPNOSISMIC manga by Yuichiro Momose. The first season was set to air in July 2020. However, it was pushed back to October 2022 due to impacts caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The series ran for 12 episodes and ended in December 2020, but the anime will soon continue in a second season.
HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima Season 2 Staff and Cast
A-1 Pictures will be in charge of animating and producing HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima Season 2. Previous A-1 Pictures works include hit series such as Sword Art Online and The Seven Deadly Sins. Katsumi Ono will direct the new season and Yuki Kuroiwa is going to be in charge of the animation.

Plot of The Anime
After a war killed a third of the population, a group of women took over the government and banned the use of weapons. As a result, this brought back law and order. Although the manufacture and use of weapons is now outlawed, warfare is waged through rap using the device known as Hypnosis Microphone. This device can cause physical damage to a listener and is now used as a replacement for weapons. Women now live in Chuuouku while the men live outside the district. Rap battles are wages, in which the victor wins their opponents’ territory.
