Kiryu returns to the yakuza underworld in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name due to this duties under the Daidoji Faction. Earlier this month, SEGA and RGG Studio released a new trailer that highlights some of the people Kiryu will meet and reunite with during his next adventure. Those who missed out on playing the game at Gamescom 2023 may look forward to PAX West 2023 as well.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name at PAX West 2023
SEGA’s official X (Twitter) account confirms that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be playable at PAX West 2023, which will be held from September 1 to 4 at the Seattle Convention Center. PAX West 2023 attendees that complete the demo will receive an exclusive button that depicts a devastating heat action from Kiryu. Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica will be playable at PAX West 2023 as well.
Kiryu becomes a Daidoji Faction agent to fill the void left after severing his past in Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. The iconic protagonist is forced back into the fray in Sotenbori in a story told after Yakuza 6 and before Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. While working as an agent in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Kiryu will come closer to realizing what’s necessary for the underworld once more.
Lastly, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches digitally on November 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are available now featuring the Legendary Dragon Pack with Daigo Dojima, Goro Majima, and Taiga Saejima.
