Bandai and its Tamashii Nations brand confirm the all-new NieR: Automata 9S SH Figuarts figure will be releasing in February 2024. Pre-orders begin soon in Japan, and more details about the figure have been revealed.
Official 2B and 9S SH Figuarts figures were initially revealed earlier this month, but a release date was not given for the 9S figure at the time. The 2B figure will be releasing first in January 2024 for 8,800 yen (tax included), and the 9S figure follows up one month later at the same price.
NieR: Automata 9S SH Figuarts Figure
Pre-orders for the new SH Figuarts NieR: Automata 9S figure will open on September 1 in Japan on AmiAmi and Tamashii Nations’ official Amazon page. This new figure includes the Cruel Oath sword accessory, multiple hand and face parts, the Pod 153 accessory, a posing stand, and a swappable hair part for 8,800 yen (roughly $62). The price may be higher when factoring in shipping costs, however. The Tamashiiweb.com page for the new 9S figure is now live with new photos.

After pre-ordering the new figure, fans may look forward to the NieR: Automata 6th anniversary livestream, which is scheduled for October 1 at 18:30 JST. This event commemorates the game’s anniversary with developer Q&A sessions and a live performance. Participants in the event include Yosuke Saito, NieR series creative director Yoko Taro, NieR series composer Keiichi Okabe, and PlatinumGames and NieR series senior game designer Takahisa Taura.
Fans may catch up on all 12 episodes of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a cour 1 on Crunchyroll. The second cour of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a will likely include another 12 episodes for a total of 24 episodes of the NieR: Automata anime adaptation. The second cour will be releasing simultaneously on Crunchyroll as well.
Finally, NieR: Automata is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
