How Many Endings Are There?
Armored Core VI has 3 endings. Each one involves completing different missions; thus giving the player a unique set of final missions. If you want to complete every mission you must shoot for seeing every ending!
Decision Missions
In order to achieve your desired ending you must make choices. There are missions where you can “accept” or “refuse” certain orders. However, the main selection you will be making is picking and choosing the proper missions. During the story, you will occasionally bump into a crossroads in which you must select one mission from a set of missions. These missions are tagged with a “Decision” marker on the mission list. This is the main determining factor that sets you on the path to specific endings. Keep our list handy so that you always know what choice to make!
In What Order Should I Complete the Endings?
I recommend doing the endings in order, as ‘Fires of Raven‘ doesn’t require you to do anything special. Next, would be ‘Liberator of Rubicon‘ as it needs some extra decisions to be made and also requires the player to complete all Arena content. ‘Alea lacta Est‘ can only be done on your second New Game Plus run, so it makes perfect sense to save it for last. Although, I suppose you could wait to do it on later runs if you want to get the other endings more than once or mess up the decisions.
Endings
You can wind up with one of two endings in your first playthrough. Aim for the other one in your second. The final ending can only be achieved in your second NG+ run. Don’t forget to select the proper Decision Missions and choices!
