Netflix released a new “Behind The Scenes” video for the upcoming One Piece live-action series. One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda serves as executive producer for the new live-action series produced by Tomorrow Studios.
During One Piece Day ’23, Netflix shared the first official trailer for the new One Piece live-action series. Fans may look forward to the first episode on August 31, and a brand-new behind-the-scenes video offers insight into the series’ production.
One Piece Netflix Series Goes Behind The Scenes
The new One Piece “Behind the Scenes” video was released featuring a look into production of the live-action series by Netflix and Tomorrow Studios. The showrunners and executive producers share comments on the new series ahead of its August 31 premiere in just ten days.

Inside the Story Behind The Scenes Video
The upcoming One Piece Netflix series is set for an August 31 premiere on the streaming platforms. Tomorrow Studios is producing eight episodes for the live-action series, which starts from the East Blue arc. Oda ensured “each and every entity involved is working in sync” for the Netflix show, and fans can expect a diverse cast of actors to portray the iconic Straw Hat Pirates. Moreover, the renowned Japanese voice cast returns to voice the Japanese dub for One Piece on Netflix.
Lastly, the One Piece anime is available to stream now on Crunchyroll. One Piece fans may also look forward to new One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 DLC featuring Onigashima Luffy and Gear 5 this September.
