    BlazBlue Entropy Effect Sells Over 70,000 Steam Copies

    Arc System Works and developer 91Act announced that BlazBlue Entropy Effect sold over 70,000 copies in the first five days following its launch on Steam. Several statistics surrounding the game’s Steam Early Access launch were revealed before the first-week discount period is over.

    BlazBlue Entropy Effect launched in Steam Early Access on August 16. The launch was relatively well received according to the new statistics, which were recorded from August 16 to August 21.

    The official Twitter account for BlazBlue Entropy Effect reveals it was the best selling and highest rated Steam Early Access game during launch week. Additionally, BlazBlue Entropy Effect also reached 5th place for single-player games, and the peak concurrent player count reached 4,759. In addition, 91Act confirms 70,000 copies of BlazBlue Entropy Effect were sold worldwide on Steam.

    In BlazBlue Entropy Effect, popular BlazBlue characters such as Ragna, Es and Hakumen may fight several enemies in 2D stages. Players may improve their combat skills by unlocking exclusive Potential Skills for characters in challenges. Characters have access to skills from seven elements: Umbra, Ice, Electricity, Toxin, Light, Fire, Blade. Abilities and skills may be passed on to new characters.

    The Steam Early Access version of BlazBlue Entropy Effect is available right now for $19.99. BlazBlue Entropy Effect supports English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese language options. A 12% discount is live for a few more hours, bringing the list price down to $17.59 until August 22.
