Kiryu becomes a Daidoji Faction agent to fill the void left after severing his past in Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. In a story told after Yakuza 6 and before Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the iconic protagonist is forced back into the fray in Sotenbori. While working as an agent in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, he will meet several key figures that call Japan’s underworld their home.

Moreover, Gamescom 2023 Opening Night Live will have world premieres and updates for existing games on August 22.
