Netflix announced its upcoming Scott Pilgrim anime series will premiere on November 17, and a brand-new trailer was released today. The new teaser trailer gives fans a first look into what can be expected from the Scott Pilgrim anime adaptation.
The new Scott Pilgrim anime was originally reported in January 2022 with Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley and producer BenDavid Grabinski at the helm. In March 2023, Netflix confirmed the anime was in production. Japanese studio Science SARU is animating the new Netflix series, and more details were revealed in a new trailer.

The upcoming anime is a faithful adaptation of the Scott Pilgrim comic book series and live action film. A new trailer was released by Netflix, revealing the staff and cast for the anime series. Abel Góngora is leading as animation director at Science SARU, and Edgar Wright serves as executive producer. Once more, Bryan Lee O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski are writing and producing the anime series. The original cast from the popular 2010 Scott Pilgrim vs. the World will return. Additionally, fans can expect a stellar soundtrack by Anamanaguchi, the composer of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game.
