Shantae series developer WayForward announced classic Game Boy Color game Xtreme Sports is now available on Nintendo Switch. The action sports RPG receives various updated features for its new Nintendo Switch release.
Xtreme Sports was first released for the Game Boy Color handheld in 2000. The title released nearly two years before the release of 2002’s original Shantae game, which was developed by Xtreme Sports staff at WayForward.

Xtreme Sports is now available on Nintendo Switch digitally for $9.99. The Nintendo Switch version includes new features such as save states and various display options. Additionally, the game’s artwork has been updated for a more modern feel.
