Batman: Arkham Trilogy will release on October 13, 2023. The game will include Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight. The seventh-generation Batman Arkham Origins will not be a part of the trilogy. Additionally, the DLC from each game will be included in the trilogy. The Batman: Arkham Trilogy supports handheld, tabletop, and tv modes. The game will be available digitally and physically for $59.99.
Arkham City has been released on a Nintendo console before. Ten years ago, Arkham City: Armored Edition was released on the Wii U. However, it is currently unknown if the collection will include the features from the Wii U port.
Rocksteady hasn’t yet detailed how the game will run on the Switch. Based on the initial trailer, the graphics look impressive despite the lesser hardware the game is on. However, the end of the trailer confirms that the “gameplay footage is not final.” Only time will tell how the Arkham Collection will perform on the Nintendo Switch compared to other consoles.
Here’s an overview of the game via the Nintendo eShop:
Become Gotham City’s ultimate protector across the iconic Batman: Arkham Trilogy.
Face off against notorious DC Super-Villains: The Joker, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and more in Batman: Arkham Asylum. In Batman: Arkham Knight, tear through the streets of Gotham and take on the ultimate threat in the trilogy’s epic conclusion.
Experience critically acclaimed gameplay & AAA original storytelling across all 3 games, PLUS all DLC, in one complete package.
Lastly, Batman: Arkham Trilogy will be released on the Nintendo Switch on October 13. The game’s PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions are available now. Fans should expect to hear more information on the game’s pre-order in the next few weeks.
