    Guilty Gear and Arc System Works Anniversary Featured in Famitsu August 31 Issue

    Famitsu revealed its August 31 issue includes a cover story for the 25th anniversary of Guilty Gear and the 35th anniversary of Arc System Works. Fighting game fans will receive a recap of information about Guilty Gear Strive’s EVO 2023 announcements by reading the new issue.

    During the EVO 2023 main stage, Arc System Works confirmed that Johnny will make his triumphant return in Guilty Gear Strive Season 3. Johnny is the first DLC character for the season, and fans may learn more about him in the new Famitsu issue.

    Guilty Gear and Arc System Works in Famitsu 

    The Famitsu August 31 issue includes a Guilty Gear 25th anniversary feature depicting all of the characters that have appeared in the series. This Guilty Gear feature also includes the latest news about Guilty Gear Strive and a Q&A with the game’s staff. Moreover, an Arc System Works 35th anniversary feature will include an interview with company CEO Minoru Kidooka and Guilty Gear series director Daisuke Ishiwatari.

    Heaven Burns Red fans may also want to purchase the new issue since it contains information about the game’s 1.5 anniversary events. The Heaven Burns Red feature also includes an interview with the staff at Visual Arts. Readers may also look forward to new details about upcoming games, including Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. The 35th anniversary website features artwork several Arc System Works games including Guilty Gear StriveRiver City Girls 2, and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. Visitors have access to an entire timeline of Arc System Works from its founding on May 12, 1988 to 2023. Additionally, fans may learn more about ARC World Tour 2023 and view staff messages by visiting the website. The ARC World Tour 2023 final featuring the 16 best players for Guilty Gear Strive is scheduled for early 2024.
