Featuring collaboration DLC by Toby Fox

    Published:

During the Touhou Matsuri event, Alliance Arts and Unknown X showcased Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost with a brand-new trailer. Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost releases on February 8 for PC, and Undertale and Deltarune creator Toby Fox will lend his talent for new DLC.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura ended service last October for Android and iOS, but the title will return as Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost for Nintendo Switch and PC. The title mobile rhythm game is rebuilt for PC and console play, and a brand-new storyline lets players embark on a new journey to restore Phantasia. Fans also have access to several Touhou musical arrangements across four difficulty levels.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura Comes to PC

Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost will launch on February 8 for PC via Steam, and standard and deluxe editions will be sold. The standard edition includes 68 songs, including original Touhou music. The deluxe edition includes the standard edition, four Music Pack DLCs, and the game’s original soundtrack. The four Music Packs will add a total of 102 songs over time.

Players may hit notes across six lanes in perfect harmony with favorite tracks in “Kagura Stage” mode. The all-new “Danmaku Stage” mode combines the use of rhythm and timing with Danmaku shoot ‘em up dynamics. Moreover, Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasm Lost players may enjoy free DLC music “U.N. Owen Was Hero?” by famed composer and Undertale creator Toby Fox in collaboration with Touhou creator ZUN.

“It is an honor to introduce a pair of Touhou titles to the world,” says Unknown X. “We are very happy to show the results of Touhou Danmaku Kagura Phantasia Lost’s crowdfunding campaign, and we look forward to sharing more information on both games in the near future.”
