Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost is coming to Switch

    Switch version successfully funded.

Unknown X announced enhanced rhythm game Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost is coming to Nintendo Switch alongside the Steam version in 2023.

The official Campfire campaign was successfully funded past 80 million yen, surpassing the Nintendo Switch stretch goal for Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost. Moreover, the game receives additional language support and a new theme song by Kishida Kyoudan & THE Akeboshi Rockets x Kayoko Kusano. Fans may also look forward to the new Mitama Card Index and Music Cover Art Index within the game.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura: Phantasia Lost’s Campfire campaign continues until January 9, 2023. Additionally, users may fund brand-new stretch goals. The new stretch goals include a new rhythm-action game mode and a possible physical release for Nintendo Switch.

“We’re honored by the fan support to continue Danmaku Kagura in this new form on Steam and Nintendo Switch,” said JYUNYA, founder, Unknown X. “We haven’t just seen support from console and PC rhythm and Touhou fans, but also from players of the mobile version that told us this was the first time they ever paid for a game that wasn’t free-to-play!”

Here’s an overview of the upcoming rhythm game via Unknown X:

A rhythm game in which players can play popular arrangements of Touhou Project songs. A rebuild of “Touhou Danmaku Kagura” as a stand-alone version with a completely new storyline.
