TMS Entertainment has confirmed that Season 2 of the Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles anime will release in 2024. The first season initially premiered in 2021.
While little is known about the second season of Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles, the story focuses on reincarnation, possession, and magic. TMS Entertainment developed the first season. Expect to see more information about the upcoming season closer to its release.
Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Information
The first season is currently available now on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll streamed the Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles TV anime subbed from the very beginning in July 2021. An English dub is also available on the service. Osamu Yamasaki and TMS Entertainment led production of the first season. Seirei Gensouki – Spirit Chronicles Season 2 will premiere in 2024, and a new trailer provides a glimpse into what fans can expect next year.

The original Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles light novels are published in Japan by HOBBY JAPAN under its HJ Bunko imprint. Two million copies of the light novel series and the manga adaptation were currently in circulation. An English language version is available now digitally through the J-Novel Club service.
The official description of the series is as follows:
“Meet Rio: a callous orphaned boy living in the slums. At only 7-years-old, he realizes he’s actually the reincarnation of Haruto Amakawa, a Japanese university student with a tragic past. While still reeling from this shocking epiphany, Rio also comes to learn that he possesses extremely potent magical abilities and uses his new powers to solve the kidnapping case of a little girl. His good deed is acknowledged, and he’s rewarded by being enrolled into… a prestigious academy for noble children…”
Lastly, Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 will release sometime in 2024. Crunchyroll will likely reveal more information about the season’s release date, story, cast, and crew in the coming months.
