Capcom has officially revealed updates for the sales of their most popular games as of June 30, 2023. These include Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter. The announcement comes through Capcom updating their platinum titles, a list of their highest-selling games of all time.
Capcom has been very successful over the past few years. Street Fighter 6, their latest entry in the prolific Street Fighter franchise, released to critical and commercial acclaim. Resident Evil 4, their most recent remake of an older Resident Evil game, was incredibly successful. While Exoprimal, their cooperative shooter released in July, wasn’t as well received as their other most recent games, Capcom’s last few years have been filled with several financial successes.
Capcom’s Sales
As of June 30, 2023, Capcom’s most notable sales updates, according to their official website, are as follows:
- Street Fighter 6 has sold more than 2 million copies.
- Resident Evil 4 has sold 4.9 million units, selling 1.2 million more since March 31
- Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has sold 6.1 million units, 700,000 more than the last update
- Resident Evil 2 has sold 12.6 million units, another 700,000 update
- Resident Evil 3 has sold 7.6 million units, 600,000 more than last time
- Resident Evil 7 Biohazard has sold 12.4 million units, 400,000 more since the previous update
- Resident Evil Village has sold 8.3 million units, 400,000 more since the last update
- Devil May Cry 5 has sold 7.2 million units, 300,000 more since last update
- Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has sold 10.5 million units, 300,000 more since the previous update
- Monster Hunter World has sold 19 million units, 200,000 more since the last update
- Capcom Arcade Stadium has sold 1.3 million units, 200,000 more since the previous update
- Street Fighter V has sold 7.3 million copies, 100,000 more since the previous update
