    Fate/Grand Order & Samurai Remnant Featured on Famitsu August 17-24 Issue

    Two weeks' worth of content in one Famitsu issue.

    Famitsu reveal its August 17 and August 24 combined issue will feature both Fate/Grand Order and Fate/Samurai Remnant. These two titles were previously highlighted at Fate/Grand Order Festival 2023 this past weekend. 

    Fate/Grand Order recently celebrated its 8th anniversary with various in-game campaigns, banner reveals, and a special “Memorial Movie 2023” animated video. The Memorial Movie 2023 video was animated and produced by Cloverworks with Hiromatsu Shu at the helm. The newest issue of Famitsu will continue the game’s 8th anniversary celebrations.

    Fate/Grand Order and Fate/Samurai Remnant Featured in Famitsu

    The August 17 and August 24 issue of Famitsu will include the latest information about Fate/Grand Order and Fate/Samurai Remnant in two extensive features. On the cover, Morgan and Altria Caster may be seen in swimsuits in a new illustration by Type-Moon artist Takashi Takeuchi. Moreover, the new issue includes an extensive interview with Takeuchi and fellow Type-Moon co-founder Kinoko Nasu.

    The new issue also contains information about Bushiroad Games’ latest titles such as Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – Quest of Memories and Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast. Additionally, Neptunia fans may read up about Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution. Pre-orders for the new issue are now available on Amazon Japan with worldwide shipping.

    During FGO Fes 2023, Type-Moon Studio BB director Kazuya Nino confirmed that development of Fate/Extra Record is still ongoing. Although Nino can’t share more information about Fate/Extra Record, the director states that the game’s development is “progressing steadily.” The development team, including Nino, is very serious about making the game. Fate/Extra Record is currently in development at Type-Moon Studio BB with no confirmed platforms or release date.

    Type-Moon confirmed Cú Chulainn and Tamamo Aria will be playable Servants in Fate/Samurai Remnant. These two characters are referred to as “Rogue Servants,” and players may request their aid while progressing the main story. Fate/Samurai Remnant is scheduled to release on September 28 in Japan and September 29 worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

    Lastly, Fate/Grand Order is available now for Android and iOS worldwide.
