    Fate/Grand Order Shares ‘Memorial Movie 2023’ Animated Video

    Celebrating another successful year of FGO.

    During Fate/Grand Order Festival 2023, Type-Moon released a new “Memorial Movie 2023” animated video. The new video commemorates the past year of Fate/Grand Order with stunning animation by Cloverworks.

    Fate/Grand Order originally launched in summer 2015 for smartphones in Japan, and the title became a worldwide phenomena after its English release in June 2017. The success of Fate/Grand Order would follow with various anime adaptations, Japanese arcade games, manga, merchandise, and much more. 

    Fate/Grand Order Memorial Movie 2023

    The new Fate/Grand Order Memorial Movie 2023 features the theme song “Flowers” by Hana Hope. Hiromatsu Shu served as the editor, director, unit director, and storyboard artist for the new animated movie. Additionally, Shu was an animation director alongside Yūsuke Tanaka, Taishi Kawakami, and Yae Ōtsuka. Once more, CloverWorks produced and animated Fate/Grand Order Memorial Movie 2023.

    Type-Moon also shared updates on its upcoming titles such as Fate/Extra Record. Type-Moon Studio BB director Kazuya Nino was pleased with the positive fan reaction at FGO Fes 2023. Although Nino can’t share more information about Fate/Extra Record, the director states that the game’s development is “progressing steadily.” The development team, including Nino, is very serious about making the game. Fate/Extra Record is currently in development at Type-Moon Studio BB with no confirmed platforms or release date.

    Moreover, fans may also look forward to Fate/Samurai Remnant, a new Fate action RPG developed by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force. During FGO Fes 2023, Type-Moon confirmed Cú Chulainn and Tamamo Aria will be playable Servants in the new title. Additionally, a new trailer featuring Rogue Servants was revealed at the event. Fate/Samurai Remnant is scheduled to release on September 28 in Japan and September 29 worldwide for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

    Lastly, Fate/Grand Order is available now for Android and iOS worldwide.
