    Monster Hunter Now Launches September 14, Pre-Registration is Live

    Capcom and Niantic announced Monster Hunter Now will launch on September 14 for Android and iOS worldwide, and pre-registration for the new title is now live. By pre-registering for Monster Hunter Now, players may earn a plethora of rewards at launch day.

    As previously announced, Monster Hunter Now uses AR and location-based technology to bring the franchise’s fearsome monsters to the real world. Players may hunt monsters at their own pace and even bring some home by using the Paintball item. This particular item allows players to bring friends over for co-op play and hunt the monster together in one location. Additionally, several of Monster Hunter’s most prominent features will be available including weapon crafting, the ability to mark monsters, and much more.

    Monster Hunter Now Launch and Pre-Registration Details

    On September 14, Monster Hunter Now launches with 13 monsters to hunt down: Great Jagras, Kulu-Ya-Ku, Pukei-Pukei, Barroth, Great Girros, Tobi-Kadachi, Jyuratodus, Paolumu, Anjanath, Rathian, Legiana, Rathalos and Diablos. Players may hunt these monsters by visiting unique habitats like forest, desert, and swamp areas. These habitats may be discovered by visiting towns. At launch, the Sword & Shield, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Light Bowgun, and Bow weapons will be available.

    Pre-registration for Monster Hunter Now is now available in the App Store and Google Play Store. Various pre-registration goals may be met by the community in order to earn rewards on launch day. These rewards include Potions, Paintballs, Founder Medals, and much more. 

    Here’s a list of the pre-registration goals:

    • 500,000 pre-registrations – Potion x10 & Paintball x3
    • 1,000,000 pre-registrations – Founder Medal & Wander Pebble x3
    • 2,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Item Box Expansion +500
    • 3,000,000 pre-registrations – Special Pre-Order Makeup x2 & Double Rewards Ticket x3
    • 5,000,000 pre-registrations – 10k Zenny & Item Box Expansion +500
