HoYoverse announced Honkai Impact 3rd Version 6.8 launches on August 3 featuring the highly anticipated arrival of Seele’s new S-rank battlesuit. The main story of Honkai Impact 3rd will continue, and fans may look forward to a new limited-time event.
Although Honkai: Star Rail released a few months ago, Honkai Impact 3rd is still going strong with new updates and content. Most recently, HoYoverse announced a collaboration between Honkai Impact 3rd and Studio Trigger’s PROMARE movie. Version 6.8 is launching soon with several new pieces of content to look forward to as well.
New Honkai Impact 3rd Version 6.8 Content
In Version 6.8 of Honkai Impact 3rd, Seele’s new S-rank Herrscher of Rebirth battlesuit Herrscher of Rebirth will make its debut. As a PSY-type physical DMG dealer, Seele may fight enemies with summoned entities. Her Herrscher of Rebirth battlesuit has two forms: Soul Shaper and Life Binder. Soul Shaper specializes in support, whereas Life Binder focuses on dealing damage. dealing DMG respectively. In Soul Shaper form, Seele’s Ultimate lures enemies into a certain area, reduces their defense stat, and guarantees critical hits from teammates. In Life Binder form, Seele fights with her summoned entity, Flora, while wielding a powerful scythe.
The Sage of the High Tower will appear as an enemy as the main story continues onward. Players will reminisce about Saule and Veliona’s journey over the years, and players will witness the conclusion of some stories through the perspective of Seele. Players may also look forward to the limited-time main story event “Chasing Light, Drinking Shadow.” This new event consists of 3 phases, letting players freely choose which “side of the black and white worlds” to progress. The “Before the Endless Dream Ends” summer event is also coming in Honkai Impact 3rd Version 6.8 featuring a new journey with the Magic Girls. The main objective of the summer event is simple: defeat enemies and become the last winner by making use of different cards.
