    Castlevania: Nocturne Unveils Teaser Trailer

    Witness the rise of Richter Belmont this September.

    Netflix unveiled the first trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne today, lasting two and a half minutes. This trailer showcases a glimpse of what awaits in Richter Belmont’s origin story, which will be shown for the very first time.

    The series was originally announced in June, with a small tease available. Yesterday, Netflix released the first poster for the series as well as the release date information, which is September 28. Check out the brand-new trailer and series information below:

    The gory and gothic adventures of the Castlevania franchise continue with an exciting new setting and their highest stakes yet. A gripping story of love and loss, Nocturne marks an evolution to the original fan-favorite Castlevania Netflix Series. Featuring a never before seen origin story of Richter Belmont (gaming icon, and one of the Franchise’s most beloved characters).

    Led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley. Produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation.

    Inspired by the popular video game series, this anime series is a dark medieval fantasy. It follows the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, Trevor Belmont, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hands of Vlad Dracula Tepes. As Dracula and his legion of vampires prepare to rid the world of humanity’s stain, Belmont is no longer alone, and he and his misfit comrades race to find a way to save mankind from the grief-maddened Dracula.
