    Episode 17 Preview

In Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 16, Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya regains his powers in the form of a mighty Hollowfied Bankai. This wonderful opportunity came after Kisuke Urahara delivered Shineiyaku, pills that restore Bankai to Soul Reapers that had their powers stolen by the Stern Ritters. Once activated, the Quincies and Sternritters are at a severe disadvantage. Additionally, the Shineiyaku provides a revelation into how Hollows and Arancars may be crucial toward the Soul Reapers winning the war against the Quincies. Shinji Hirako uses his powerful Bankai against Bambietta in a moment that fans have been waiting for a long time.

However, the activation of the restored Bankai by the Soul Reapers also means that the Sternritters and Quincies won’t hold back any longer. The use of stolen Bankai actually makes Sternritters weaker, so the powerful Quincies will now use Voll Stern Dich, an ancient and powerful technique. As Ichigo continues to prepare for his battles ahead and grows wiser, the Soul Reapers must now prepare for even more intense showdowns against the Sternritters in Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 17. “True despair” will become a reality as Yhwach’s plans are brought into fruition.

Lastly, Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War is now streaming on Hulu and Disney Plus in select regions. Bleach fans may also look forward to Bleach: Soul Resonance, a new action game launching in 2024 for Android and iOS.
