    Street Fighter 6 DLC Character Rashid and Update Now Available

    Capcom announced Street Fighter 6 DLC character Rashid is now available alongside a brand-new update for the fighting game. The company also confirms Rashid will be playable in competition at EVO 2023 next month. 

    Rashid of the Turbulent Wind makes his triumphant return as the first DLC character for Street Fighter 6. Players have access to Rashid by owning Street Fighter 6 Ultimate Edition, the Year 1 Character Pass, or the Year 1 Ultimate Pass. Moreover, players may purchase Rashid separately or try him out for one hour by using a Rental Fighter ticket. A brand-new update adds Rashid-themed content to World Tour mode in Street Fighter 6 as well. 

    Street Fighter 6 Rashid Update

    The latest Street Fighter 6 update brings official support for Rashid alongside several character adjustments for the roster and new World Tour content. Rashid Master Missions will be available in World Tour, and players have access to new missions after completing the main story. Additionally, Rashid’s story is available in Arcade Mode, and a new quality-of-life feature lets Drive Rush cancels be performed by pressing MP + MK or the Drive Parry button.

    World Tour

      • Rashid’s Master Missions added
      • New missions added featuring the Mike Haggar Memorial Stadium Tournament and Suval’hal Arena
        • Note: You must complete the main story in World Tour to access these missions

      • Hub Goods Shop now includes “Pirate” and “Resort” themed avatar outfits!
    • General
      • A new quality-of-life feature that allows Drive Rush cancels to be performed by pressing MP + MK (Classic Controls) or the Drive Parry button (Modern Controls) following a cancellable normal attack

    Lastly, Rashid is eligible for competition at EVO 2023, so top players from around the world may use him in the tournament if desired. EVO 2023 is set for August 4 to 6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    Street Fighter 6 is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
