Capcom announced dinosaur-slaying action game Exoprimal has reached one million players since launch on July 14. The development team is currently working on updates and improvements to Exoprimal, and the next update includes a special bonus.
Exoprimal is a unique new IP that combines dinosaurs with futuristic technology of the future as players slay waves of these creatures in exosuits. Our review of Exoprimal delves deeper into what makes gameplay and the customization system so satisfying, despite the game’s clear flaws. Future updates will include additional exosuits and new modes, and Capcom appears to reassure its stance on supporting Exoprimal by working on improvements based on player feedback.
Exoprimal surpassed a total of one million players worldwide across all platforms, and it’s likely that Xbox Game Pass had a hand in making the milestone possible. Alongside the first major title update on August 16, players will receive a free Skywave skin to commemorate the player achievement. Capcom reiterates that its working hard on the game based on player feedback, so improvements can be expected over time.

Future Exoprimal Seasons and Updates
The new Savage Gauntlet mode will arrive on July 28 with difficult five-player PvE missions. This mode is unlocked after completing the main story of Exoprimal, however. These challenging missions rotate weekly and may be replayed for higher rankings and rewards.
On August 16, Exoprimal will receive it’s first major title update featuring 10 Alpha variant exosuits. These alternate Exosuits include completely different weapons from their regular counterparts in the game, offering new ways to enjoy endgame content.
Exoprimal Season 2 is expected to arrive in October with the highly anticipated Street Fighter 6 collaboration. Players may look forward to new map, a Final Mission, more rigs and modules, and much more. Season 3 will kick off with brand-new Beta variant exosuits in January 2023. Moreover, players may summon and defeat the Neo Triceratops, and Capcom will bring illustrious Monster Hunter series into the world of Exoprimal.
Finally, Exoprimal launched July 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows.
