The first Oxenfree, initially released in 2016, is known for having many different endings. These endings would be the product of the player’s choices throughout the narrative. Its sequel Oxenfree II is no different. You will be expected to make several critical choices throughout the game. Oxenfree II‘s endings
Three endings of Oxenfree II have been discovered at the time of writing. Without giving them away, which ending you get is based on a specific choice you have to make at the end of the game. The option will become apparent when you get to that point. Each ending has a different cinematic and dialogue based on what you picked.
The game then cuts to a box of mementos after the cutscenes end. The contents of the box change based on the choices that you make. For example, you can access a phone containing a voicemail between two characters you met in the story. They discuss the events that just transpired, Riley, the protagonist, and the role she played in the ending that the player chose. The conclusions are a great way to make the player feel satisfaction at all they achieved during the game.
