Square Enix have announced treasure hunting adventure game Dragon Quest Treasures is now available for PC via Steam. The PC version includes a number of improvements, and Steam users receive an extra bonus with their purchase.
Dragon Quest Treasures first launched on December 9, 2022 as a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch. The recent title expands on the childhood memories and adventures of Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Players may recruit monsters, seek treasures, and defend their loot against enemy monster gangs. The PC version was rated in Korea this past May, and the game shadow-dropped on Steam today, July 14.
Dragon Quest Treasures Lands on Steam
Dragon Quest Treasures is now available on PC via Steam, and the game is fully compatible with Steam Deck as a verified title. The PC version includes various graphical and frame rate improvements that weren’t possible on Nintendo Switch. A standard and digital deluxe edition are available for $49.99 and $54.99 respectively. Digital deluxe edition contents include the full game, 25 Bestest Buddy Bullet items, 25 Omniheal Bomb items, a Great Sabercat monster, a Ruby Golem monster, and an Icy Dragling monster.
Players who purchase the Steam version before July 28 will also receive the following items:
- Chimaera Wing (x10) – Returns players to base immediately without losing any treasure
- Better Buddy Bullet (x15) – Increases the likelihood of a monster wanting to join the player’s gang
- Fullheal Pellet (x15) – Fully restores the HP of a single ally

As Erik and Mia, players will embark on an extraordinary journey through the mysterious world of Draconia. The duo will be joined by their cute companion creatures, Purrsula and Porcus, alongside a team of recruitable monster pals in their search for boundless treasures. Players can utilize these monsters’ unique abilities to discover hidden treasures and reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Defend against monsters and rival gangs until the siblings can return to base to get their treasures appraised. Collecting treasure can increase the players’ vault value, allowing them to expand their home base and further build up their brigade of friendly monsters.
Lastly, Dragon Quest Treasures is available now for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
