Crunchyroll announces its plans for EVO 2023 as an official partner for the premier fighting game tournament series. At EVO 2023, attendees will be able to try out Street Fighter: Duel, win prizes, and check out the latest anime by visiting the official Crunchyroll booth.
Alongside a playable Street Fighter: Duel demo at Crunchyroll’s EVO 2023 booth, Crunchyroll subscribers attending the event have the chance to win exclusive prizes. Moreover, Crunchyroll has partnered with EVO to bring several performances from artists and DJs, including Hyper Potions, Shihori, and K?D. Anime fans may also enjoy interactive photo ops with characters from hit franchises such as Jujutsu Kaisen and SPY x FAMILY.
Crunchyroll’s EVO 2023 booth will host various giveaways featuring anime that’s currently streaming now. The booth will also have its own merchandise shop, which is a first for Crunchyroll at EVO. More announcements will be made by Crunchyroll before EVO 2023, including game collaborations and events.
“Crunchyroll fans will join Evo’s core audience in being thrilled by Evo’s largest event ever as we continue to evolve our gaming convention with expanded activities like the 10,000 square foot retro arcade, Industry and Community Showcases, artist alley, and new vendors and exhibitors alongside our internationally renowned, and once again record-breaking, tournaments,” said EVO GM Rick Thiher in a press release.
