Capcom announced several new details about Exoprimal during its recent showcase, including the post-launch seasonal roadmap. Exoprimal players can expect several new content updates following the game’s launch on July 14, including new Street Fighter 6 and Monster Hunter collaborations.
During the Exoprimal Showcase, Capcom confirmed the game will include a “Final Mission Selection feature that players three matchmaking options: PvP, PvE, and Random. In PvP games, two rival squads of Exofighters go head-to-head at the end of matches. This showdown ultimately decides which team wins. In PvP, the team to complete all objectives first will survive. Players who chose the random feature will receive a small XP bonus.
Exoprimal Post-Launch Roadmap and Monster Hunter Collab
Following the launch of Exoprimal, Capcom will introduce several seasonal content updates with major new features. Season 1 begins alongside the game’s launch on Friday, July 14. The new Savage Gauntlet mode will arrive on July 28, offering a new weekly co-op experience that challenges teams of five players with late-game PvE missions. These challenging missions rotate weekly and may be replayed for higher rankings and rewards.
On August 17, Exoprimal receive it’s first major title update featuring 10 Alpha variant Exosuits to the roster all at once. These alternate Exosuits include completely different weapons from their regular counterparts in the game, offering new ways to enjoy endgame content. Season 1 will be well underway at this point, and Capcom revealed that the first season will end in mid-October.
Exoprimal Season 2 will feature the next title update with the highly anticipated Street Fighter 6 collaboration. Players may look forward to new map, a Final Mission, more rigs and modules, and much more. In January 2024, Season 3 will kick off with brand-new Beta variant Exosuits. Moreover, players may summon and defeat new foe, the Neo Triceratops. A second collaboration is also in the works with Capcom bringing the illustrious Monster Hunter series into the world of Exoprimal during the third season.

Finally, Exoprimal launches July 14 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. The game will be available with Xbox Game Pass on consoles, PC, and cloud on launch day.
