This morning, Nintendo announced the release date of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 5 DLC. It was initially revealed at the Nintendo Direct that aired late last month, only with a release date of Summer 2023.
Following in the footsteps of previous waves, a brand new eight tracks will be available. An entirely new track, Squeaky Clean Sprint, is also included in this package.
Wave 5 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Launches Next Wednesday
On July 12, you will be able to download Wave 5. This includes a brand new 8 tracks, as well as three new playable characters – Petey Piranha, Wiggler, and Kamek! The only way to get this new content is by purchasing the Booster Course Pass, which contains six different waves of content.
At this point, Waves 1-4 have been released. Wave 6 will release before the end of 2023. We expect that will slide into either September or October, judging on previous DLC releases from Nintendo.
