The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse anime is set to premiere on October 8 according to the anime’s official staff. The announcement was accompanied by a new illustration by Seven Deadly Sins creator Nakaba Suzuki.
Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is the sequel to the original Seven Deadly Sins series starring Meliodias. The sequel picks up 16 years after the Seven Deadly Sins were disbanded. Percival (voiced by Shou Komura), a young boy prophesied to destroy the world, sets out to discover the three remaining knights. He’s joined by Lancelot, the son of Ban from the original series. An anime adaptation was announced in May 2022, and the premiere date was finally announced during Anime Expo 2023.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Premieres in October
Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will premiere on TBS and other Japanese broadcasting networks on October 8 according to Anime News Network. To commemorate the announcement, the Japan Anniversary Association declared July 4 to be “The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse Day.” Moreover, original creator Nakaba Suzuki shared a new illustration for the anime and recognized day in Japan. In the illustration, original protagonist Meliodas may be seen giving sequel protagonist Percival a high-five.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series director Maki Odaira is directing The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and Shigeru Murakoshi will oversee and write the series scripts. Lupid the Third: Part 5 and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood animator Youichi Takada is the character designer, and renowned composers Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto will create the main theme. Further, Yamamoto will be composing the anime’s score.
Finally, Telecom Animation Film is producing the animation for The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is in charge of production and planning for the anime series.
