Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series – Ash and Pikachu’s Final Chapter Premieres February 24 on Netflix

    The Pokémon Company announced the Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series anime depicting Ash and Pikachu’s final chapter premieres on February 24 exclusively through Netflix. 

    A new batch of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series episodes will be available to stream on Netflix. These episodes fall under “Part Two” of the anime as Ash prepares for his next World Coronation Series battle against Drasna of the Kalos Elite Four. According to The Pokémon Company, fans can stay tuned to Netflix for more episodes in the near future. 

    The amount of episodes coming on February 24 was not revealed, but fans can expect more episodes in the months to follow. These episodes ultimately lead to the culmination of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series and Ash Ketchum’s send off.

    Ash’s next World Coronation Series battle is against Drasna of the Kalos Elite Four, but first, he visits his friends Clemont and Bonnie! Then, Chloe meets another of Ash’s friends and enters a Pokémon Contest Spectacular with Eevee, and when Ash’s bond with Lucario reminds him of Greninja, he heads back to Kalos for some special training. Meanwhile, Goh faces his final trial missions for Project Mew, and a trek through the Crown Tundra results in a joyous reunion for Lillie’s family. As the Masters Eight Tournament draws near, Ash’s former rival Paul appears—and Ash is eager to battle!

    A new chapter for the Pokémon anime franchise begins after Ash and Pikachu give fans their final farewell, however. An all-new Pokémon anime series arrives in 2023 with new protagonists and a journey through the Paldea region of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
