Developer Choice Provisions announced BIT.TRIP RERUNNER, a brand-new entry in the long-running BIT.TRIP series. The upcoming game will include mechanics inspired by the original BIT.TRIP and RUNNER games.
BIT.TRIP RERUNNER includes over 150 new levels with increasing challenges. Players may also take advantage of the RUNNER-MAKER tool to create and share levels with friends. The upcoming title will feature new gameplay mechanics inspired by the original BIT.TRIP series and the original RUNNER game. Further details, including platforms and a release date, were not announced.

The latest game in the long-running BIT.TRIP and RUNNER franchises is Runner3, which released on May 22, 2018 for Mac, PC, and Nintendo Switch. A PlayStation 4 version launched on November 13, 2018. In Runner3, CommanderVideo goes on another quest to save the multiverse by traversing several challenging levels.
