Private Division just announced a brand-new highly stylized 3D platformer during the June 21 Nintendo Direct. Titled Penny’s Big Breakaway, the game will include a combination of traditional collectathon action and high-speed gameplay. The new title will release in early 2024, and publisher Private Division and developer Evening Star Games confirmed more details on the game’s store pages.
Penny’s Big Breakaway – Around the World
Created by the developers of Sonic Mania, Penny’s Big Breakaway is a new “kinetic 3D-platformer bursting with innovative gameplay!” The game is focused around the character of Penny and her yo-yo. The critical mechanics in Penny’s Big Breakaway are focused on the yo-yo.

Release Information
Penny’s Big Breakaway will release in early 2024. Upon release, it will be playable on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Wishlist it now on the Nintendo eShop.
