Square Enix announced the Octopath Traveler 5th Anniversary Official Live Stream will be held on July 13 at 7:00 a.m. EDT / 20:00 JST. The upcoming live stream will take a look back at the history of the franchise while celebrating with fans.
The Octopath Traveler 5th Anniversary Official Live Stream includes a “memorial corner” segment that looks back on the history of the series. In addition, Square Enix will announce the results of a new Octopath Traveler user survey, which is available until June 28 at 23:59 JST / 10:59 a.m. EDT. The upcoming live stream is hosted by Weekly Famitsu’s Romancing Saga (@famitsu_saga) with Square Enix producer Masashi Takahashi, Acquire director Keisuke Miyauchi, and composer Yasunori Nishiki as special guests.

Earlier this month, Square Enix announced Octopath Traveler II surpassed one million copies sold worldwide across consoles and PC. The Octopath Traveler sequel managed to reach the one million sales milestone in less than four months following its release on February 24, 2023. To celebrate the announcement, Octopath Traveler series illustrator Tatsuaki Urushihara shared new artwork for Octopath Traveler II.
