Fire Emblem Heroes Adds Summer Versions of Shez, Shamir, and More

Summer fun returns to Fire Emblem Heroes.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems announced the Fire Emblem Heroes “Summer Longing” summoning event begins soon with special versions of Shez, Shamir, and more characters. Players may also earn a free character by participating in the next Tempest Trials event.

The Summer Longing event begins on June 19 at 12 a.m. PDT / 3 a.m. EDT in Fire Emblem Heroes featuring several characters. After installing the free update, Fire Emblem Heroes players may summon summer versions of Shez (female), Ephraim, L’Arachel, and Shamir (duo unit with Catherine). These heroes have different weapons and skill sets when compared to their more traditional counterparts. However, these characters are just as powerful.

Alongside the Summer Longing event, the Summer Longing Paralogue story will be available. Fire Emblem Heroes players may enjoy a short story featuring the Summer Longing characters. Moreover, players may earn a summer version of Shez (male) for free by participating in the next Tempest Trials+ event. Shez may be obtained for free by meeting a certain score requirement in Tempest Trials+. Players may also complete quests for additional rewards including Orbs, which are required to summon from the new banner.
