Compile Heart and Idea Factory released an overview trailer for upcoming spin-off RPG Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution. The near five-minute long trailer recaps information about the game’s story, playable characters, mini-games, and much more.
Adult Neptune becomes president of a game studio at the request of three failed goddesses: Pipi, Jarga, and Lideo. Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution players will explore dungeons, manage the game studio, and enjoy various new mini-games in this upcoming RPG. Additionally, Neptunia fans may enjoy the new Heartful Photo Mode and take photos of their favorite characters. Victory Special and Digital Deluxe Editions of Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution will be available for 12,100 yen in Japan. Moreover, a New Recruit Welcome Box Edition will be sold for 18,480 yen. For those still wanting to buy Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters, a “Double Pack” will be sold in Japan for 12,780 yen featuring Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution and Neptunia: Sisters vs Sisters for Nintendo Switch. A western release of Hyperdimension Neptunia: GameMaker R:Evolution has not been announced, but Idea Factory will likely make an announcement soon. Idea Factory International is hosting a 10th anniversary event on July 2, and the publisher hopes “fans of Neptunia and otome titles look forward” to it. Once more, several game announcements are expected at the show according to the company’s press release.
Lastly, Hyperdimension Neptunia GameMaker R:Evolution launches August 10 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan. A worldwide release and PC version have not been announced.
