We’re quickly approaching the launch of Final Fantasy XVI, the next mainline title in the long-running and beloved RPG series. The game is being developed by Creative Business Unit III, which is responsible for the critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV

Clive Rosfield is the main protagonist of the title, voiced by Ben Starr. He is the only playable character, as the game has a high action focus, or at least more so than previous Final Fantasy titles. Combat design has been directed by Ryota Suzuki, who was a key member of the Devil May Cry 5 and Dragon’s Dogma combat design teams.

Final Fantasy XVI is a PlayStation 5 exclusive. The game is set to be released on PC later on; however, there is no confirmation of any other platform at this time. A Pre-Launch Celebration Stream is scheduled for this Sunday, June 11.
