Bokeh Game Studio published a new “Golden Hour” video featuring Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty director Fumihiko Yasuda and Fatal Frame series director Makoto Shibata. The Golden Hour series of videos allows Bokeh Game Studio to share insight into game development by having discussions with prominent developers.
In the latest Golden Hour video, Fumihiko Yasuda and Makoto Shibata share a drink with Bokeh Game Studio founder and director Keiichiro Toyama. Moreover, all three of these creators are close friends, and the trio discuss their approach to creating action and horror games. Although there are clear differences between the two genres, these creators discuss how certain elements may resonate together for excellent games.
Bokeh Game Studio notes that the new Golden Hour video featuring Fumihiko Yasuda and Makoto Shibata is the studio’s first YouTube video of 2023. Fortunately, the studio will be resuming activity of its YouTube channel going forward. Further, Bokeh Game Studio will continue to invite guests over for Golden Hour while developing Slitterhead. Fans may subscribe to the studio’s official YouTube channel to receive more updates in the near future.

Bokeh Game Studio Golden Hour Featuring Fumihiko Yasuda & Makoto Shibata
Slitterhead is a brand-new horror adventure game currently in development with director Keiichiro Toyama at the helm. This is Toyama’s first project since leaving Sony’s Japan Studio in 2020 and Bokeh Game Studio’s first project. Toyama is joined by former colleagues from Japan Studio, sharing the same vision for an up-and-coming game studio.
Makoto Shibata’s latest release is the Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse remaster, which released on March 9 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Lastly, Fumihiko Yasuda is currently working on Rise of the Ronin, a new action RPG in development at Team NINJA for PlayStation 5.
