Aniplex and the official Fate/Grand Order USA Twitter account announced this afternoon that a brand-new panel would occur at Anime Expo 2023. The panel will be titled ‘FGO 6th Anniversary x TYPE-MOON Projects’. This will focus on new announcements for the Fate/Grand Order mobile game and new information on multiple upcoming Type-Moon projects.

The panel will feature voice actors from the series, such as Ayako Kawasumi (Saber) and Rie Takahashi (Mash). Additionally, staff from Aniplex of America will be in attendance for the panel.

Anime Expo to Host Type-Moon Panel

A snippet of information was released on the official Anime Expo 2023 website detailing what this panel will consist of.

Fate/Grand Order turns 6! Join special guests Ayako Kawasumi (Altria Pendragon), Kenji Akabane (Kadoc Zemlupus), Rie Takahashi (Mash Kyrielight), and Part 2 Director KANOU YOSHIKI along with Aniplex of America’s Albert Kao to celebrate and talk upcoming TYPE-MOON projects!

if you’re a Type-Moon fan, this panel should sound extremely exciting. There are so many potential projects that could be discussed here, in addition to dozens we probably do not know about.

New Upcoming Type-Moon Projects

Fate/Strange Fake

First, it has already been confirmed that the premiere of Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn will be at Anime Expo 2023. It was originally supposed to air on December 31, 2022; however, production issues caused the anime to be delayed.

Next, the first trailer of Ufotable’s upcoming Witch on the Holy Night movie will surely make an appearance. It is scheduled to begin airing in theatres in Fall 2023, which is right around the corner.

After that, it is really anyone’s guess! We saw the first official localization of a Type-Moon visual novel this past December with Witch on the Holy Night, but could there be another one on the way? It is certainly possible considering the extremely popular Tsukihime -A Piece of Blue Glass Moon-released in Japan on August 26, 2021, and is yet to have an English release. Plus, there is always the wild chance Type-Moon is working on a remake of Fate/stay night for its 20th anniversary next year.

We’ll just have to wait for July 2’s Type-Moon panel to find out! Be sure to stick around here at Final Weapon for all the latest on this exciting event.
