Aniplex and Liden Films published a new character trailer for the Atelier Ryza anime adaptation featuring Klaudia Valentz. Klaudia becomes Reisalin “Ryza” Stout’s best friend in Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and befriends Lent Marslink and Tao Montgarden. Together, the four characters make up the main playable party for the first Atelier Ryza title.
The latest Atelier Ryza anime trailer introduces Klaudia Valentz, the daughter of a wealthy traveling merchant. Klaudia’s constant traveling have left her with a want for friends. During the events of the first Atelier Ryza game, the Kurken Island trio meet Klaudia and encourage her to join them on a new adventure. In the anime, voice actors Yuri Noguchi (Reisalin Stout), Yui Kondou (Tao Mongarten), and Takuma Terashima (Lent Marslink) return for their respective roles alongside Hitomi Owada as Klaudia Valentz.
As previously discussed, the Atelier Ryza TV anime adaptation depicts the events of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, the first game in the “Secret” trilogy. As previously detailed, Emma Yuzuriha directs the new anime with Yashichiro Takahashi overseeing series composition. Additionally, character designs and music are handled by illustrator Tomoyuki Shitaya and composer Kazuki Yamagawa respectively.

Fans may also look forward to an HD remake of Atelier Marie, the very first game in the Atelier franchise. Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on July 13, just a few days after the premiere of the Atelier Ryza anime.
The upcoming Atelier Ryza anime premieres on July 1 across Japanese broadcasting networks. Lastly, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
