Following the events of the new movie.

Capcom announced an official manga adaptation of the Resident Evil Death Island CG film begins serialization soon. The upcoming manga will be available from the COMIC Hu manga and comic website

Serialization of the Resident Evil Death Island manga begins on Friday, May 19, and it will run as a monthly series on COMIC Hu. Capcom confirms that the manga adaptation will follow the same plot as the film, so the manga should serve as a complementary work. Alongside the announcement of the manga, Capcom revealed a new key visual featuring the iconic cast of characters from Resident Evil Death Island. These characters include Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, and Rebecca Chambers.

The most recent game release in the Resident Evil franchise is Resident Evil 4. The remake closely follows the events of the original Resident Evil 4 while incorporating new elements in the story and gameplay. Resident Evil 4 quickly became one of Capcom’s highest selling titles of 2023 with nearly 4 million copies sold within launch week. This highly successful launch also led Capcom to achieve record-high net sales in fiscal year ending on March 31, 2023.

The Mercenaries DLC in Resident Evil 4 remake is available now for free, allowing players to control characters such as Leon and Ada against waves of dangerous enemies. This returning mode from the original Resident Evil 4 game has been reimagined for the remake just like the main story. Players may also use new characters that were not playable in the original title. All characters may take advantage of Mayhem Mode, which are unique abilities that are new to Resident Evil 4 remake.

Resident Evil Death Island premieres on July 7 in theaters, and the official manga adaptation arrives on May 19. Lastly, Resident Evil 4 remake is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam worldwide.
