Private Division and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet developer Game Freak announced a partnership to develop a new action-adventure game codenamed “Project Bloom.” The game is currently in early development and expected to launch in the next three years.
Private Division is handling publishing duties for Project Bloom while Game Freak develops the game. An official title for the game has not been finalized, the game is expected to release in fiscal year 2026 according to Private Division parent company Take-Two Interactive. Platforms for the new title were not announced either. To commemorate the game’s announcement, a new piece of concept art was unveiled, and directors from the involved parties shared public statements.
Game Freak is also developing the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC alongside The Pokémon Company. The new DLC features a mysterious Pokémon that was recently spotted in the ongoing Pokémon Horizons: The Series anime. More details about the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC are coming soon.
