    Famitsu revealed its May 25 issue includes a cover story for the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The new issue launches just one day before the launch of Nintendo’s major Nintendo Switch title.

    The May 25 issue of Famitsu releases on Thursday, May 11 in Japan. The new issue includes an overview of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and its features. Additionally, Famitsu confirms the new issue will contain a retrospective feature about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Famitsu will dive into the Nintendo Switch launch title one last time before the launch of its sequel on Friday. Alongside The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom details, Famitsu readers can expect more information about upcoming games such as Armored Core VI: The Fires of Rubicon and Dragon Quest X Offline “The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally”.     The Legend of Zelda fans may also look forward to a special launch event on May 11. Nintendo will host a special edition of Nintendo Treehouse: Live starting on May 11 at 6:45 p.m. PDT / 9:45 p.m. EDT. The presentation includes four segments featuring live gameplay and celebrations leading up to the midnight launch. Nintendo NYC will also host its own launch event as eager customers await the release of the game at the major store. At midnight, customers may pick up their copy of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom alongside the special Nintendo Switch OLED model, Pro Controller, and carrying case.

    Lastly, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches May 12 for Nintendo Switch.
