A new rating for Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon’s upcoming action RPG Fate/Samurai Remnant has been filed in Taiwan. An exact release date has not been announced, but an announcement may be coming soon since Fate/Samurai Remnant was rated.
Fate/Samurai Remnant was recently rated for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam by the Taiwan Ratings Board. A rating usually indicates that the game’s release should come in the near future, but a release date for Fate/Samurai Remnant has not been officially revealed just yet. The game’s release window is currently set for 2023, and fans can expect more news to come soon.
Fate/Samurai Remnant Taiwan Rating
A new Fate story begins in Fate/Samurai Remnant, which is set in the Edo period of Japan. The mysterious “Waxing Moon Ritual” will be a crucial element of the action RPG’s story. Like prior Fate titles, Fate/Samurai Remnant’s protagonist is a master involved in a Holy Grail War. The protagonist summons a servant whose identity is currently unknown, but fans can expect Musashi Miyamoto from the highly successful Fate/Grand Order mobile RPG to appear.
This past February, the official Steam page for Fate/Samurai Remnant went live, reconfirming its 2023 worldwide release window. The new action RPG will support English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language options with Japanese voiceovers. Moreover, players may view the game’s initial reveal trailer by visiting the Steam page here.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is not the only Fate title releasing in the future, however. Fate/Extra Record, a remake of the original Fate/Extra game, is currently in development at Type-Moon Studio BB. Platforms and a release date for Fate/Extra Record have not been revealed yet. An update on Fate/Extra Record is expected in 2023 considering the game’s previous news update arrived in July 2022.
Lastly, Fate/Samurai Remnant launches in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
