Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon have launched the official Steam page for upcoming action RPG, Fate/Samurai Remnant. The Steam page confirms a few new details including supported languages for the full release.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is set in the Edo period of Japan as a new Holy Grail War begins. The “Waxing Moon Ritual” will be central to the action RPG’s story. Fate/Samurai Remnant’s protagonist is a master of this new Holy Grail War and summons a servant, whose identity remains unknown. Moreover, the game’s reveal trailer confirms the appearance of Musashi Miyamoto from the popular Fate/Grand Order mobile RPG.
The Steam page for Fate/Samurai Remnant reconfirms a 2023 worldwide release window. Fate/Samurai Remnant will support English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language options. However, only Japanese voiceovers have been confirmed, and system requirements have not been revealed yet.
Type-Moon’s latest release is Witch on the Holy Night, an enhanced visual novel remaster for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Witch on the Holy Night characters make an appearance in the Melty Blood: Type Lumina fighting game. Melty Blood: Type Lumina is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Fate/Extra Record, a remake of the original Fate/Extra game, is in development at Type-Moon Studio BB. Platforms and a release date for Fate/Extra Record have not been revealed yet.
Lastly, Fate/Samurai Remnant launches in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
