Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 released a brand-new trailer for Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections to highlight characters from the NARUTOP99 popularity vote. These characters include Minato Namikaze, Madara Uchiha, Hashirama Senju, and several prominent members of the Akatsuki organization.
The “NARUTOP99 Special Collaboration” trailer for Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections showcases several playable characters from the Naruto Shippuden portion of the roster. Specifically, several top ranked characters from the NARUTOP99 fan vote were featured such as Itachi Uchiha, Shisui Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, and much more. Roughly 124 characters will be playable in Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections.
Players may relive iconic scenes from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in a massive story mode encompassing all four mainline Ultimate Ninja Storm titles and its DLC. In addition, Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will feature brand-new playable characters including Naruto Uzumaki (Baryon Mode), Sasuke Uchiha (Supporting Kage), Indra Otsutsuki, and Asura Otsutsuki. Further, players can also expect an original story mode starring Boruto Uzumaki from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

Fans of anime games may also look forward to a brand-new Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi game, which is currently in development at Bandai Namco. The new project is the first Budokai Tenkaichi game in nearly 16 years, and it will feature Dragon Ball Super characters like Super Saiyan Blue Goku. Platforms and a release date for the new Budokai Tenkaichi game have not been revealed, but Bandai Namco plans on sharing more information soon.
Lastly, Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections launches in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
