To celebrate the upcoming release of Fire Emblem Engage, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems announced characters from the game are coming soon to Fire Emblem Heroes including Alear.
Alear, Celine, Chloe, and Alfred from Fire Emblem Engage join Fire Emblem Heroes on January 16 at 11 p.m. PT in the “New Heroes: Engage” summoning event. Alfred will be the first Rearmed Hero hailing from the Fire Emblem Engage title. Fire Emblem Heroes players can also expect a brand-new story chapter featuring Fire Emblem Engage characters like Alear and Celine in Book VI.
Players may also look forward to Fire Emblem Engage celebratory events in Fire Emblem Heroes. Starting January 16, players may earn Etie as a free login and quest reward. Lumera joins in the next Grand Hero Battle starting January 17.

Previously, Fire Emblem Heroes introduced powerful mages such as Byleth and Linde in the “Sage of Khadein?” summoning event on January 9. The summoning event is still active, and players may learn about these mages in the latest paralogue chapter.
Further, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems recently launched the Choose Your Legends: Round 7 event in Fire Emblem Heroes. The top two male and female characters will be selected as winners of Choose Your Legends: Round 7 and reappear at a later date with special outfits.
Fire Emblem Heroes is available now for Android and iOS worldwide as a free-to-play title. Lastly, Fire Emblem Engage, the next mainline entry in the long-running strategy RPG series, launches January 20, 2023 for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
